MLC 2026: Here Are the Complete Squads of Every Franchise
Major League Cricket (MLC) has returned for its fourth season, and the buzz around it feels bigger than ever. The 2026 edition kicked off on June 18 and will come to a close on July 18. As many as six franchises will be battling it out across venues in Texas and California. It is short on duration, but heavy on action, just the way modern T20 cricket fans like it.
The season opens with a spicy clash between Texas Super Kings and Seattle Orcas at Grand Prairie Stadium. From there, the tournament settles into a double round-robin format, where every team plays the others twice. A win gives two points, a no-result or abandonment gives one, and Net Run Rate can quietly become the real villain or hero of the table. One bad collapse or one big win could shape an entire season.
Once the league stage ends, the top four move into a familiar but high-pressure playoff system. The top two get a second chance in the Qualifier, while the third and fourth face a knockout Eliminator. From there, it’s straight drama all the way to the final.
MLC 2026 feels less like an exhibition now and more like a proper competitive league. The structure is simple, but the pressure is real, and that’s exactly what makes it exciting.
